As designers we have to know all about you and your lifestyle. Since we respect that privacy we don’t publish a reference list, but instead will hand select and contact references by request only. When photographing projects we maintain your anonymity unless permission is granted otherwise. We understand confidentiality.

Our clients are busy folks, and hire us because they don’t have the time to decorate. We move quickly to meet their needs and do our job professionally and effectively. We require a minimum of client interface and often our clients work. We work in their absence getting approval upon their return. When necessary we work night and weekend appointments to accommodate tight schedules. We make it easy.

Many of our clients are married with children, typically in their early teens. These clients have gotten past the baby stage and the children are old enough to understand quality furnishings and respect their home environment. The parents focus on the public rooms, the family room, living room, and dining then move on to the children’s bedrooms and finally the master bedroom. We can do it all, in phases or at one time.

THEY ARE MARRIED WITHOUT CHILDREN

Many of your clients are dedicated to careers and travel with little time left for a home life. But when they do have the time, they want to be able to entertain in comfort and enjoy their home as a haven from the daily grind. We make that happen.

INITIAL CONSULTATION & HOME REVIEW – €50 + VAT PER HOUR

Our minimum call is the home review, and a great way to establish an overall view of your interior decorating needs. We will come out and do a complete review of your home, room by room. Even if you are working only on one room or a room at a time, it is important to view the entire house to establish continuity in style and see if any pieces may move from one space to another. Design is a domino effect, and one change will typically trigger other changes.

We can provide you with a host of ideas, suggestions and answers to your specific interior design needs. If you decide you want our expertise and talents in implementing the plan we will move on to the next level.

DESIGN PROJECT – AS PER QUOTATION FOLLOWING AN ON-SITE INSPECTION

Once you have tried our home review and want to work with us further, here’s how we do it. Design options are given to you in sketch form. At this early stage space planning, colour schemes, custom furniture, soft furnishings, fixtures, fittings and materials such as flooring and wall coverings to be used are discussed and determined. A draft design including relevant freehand perspectives is presented for discussion. The final designs will be submitted to you in  coloured 3-D computer renderings (one visual per room) and detailed floor plan and ceiling layout drawings.

The final design will incorporate enough detail to give you the added confidence to do all the purchasing and arranging yourself. If you find it difficult, or do not have the time to do so, we can help you out effectively.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION – AS PER QUOTATION FOLLOWING AN ON-SITE INSPECTION

We will assist you in formulating product specifications in conformity with the approved designs. Following the compilation of the final bills of quantities we will approach suppliers and contractors through an invitation process. We will play an active role in the adjudication process and will reach the final decisions jointly with you.

Once the adjudication process is finalized you will communicate directly with the suppliers or contractors and will negotiate the price and payment terms. Payments to the suppliers and contractors will be made by you. All awarded works and services will be monitored by us on daily basis up to the final day of the furbishing process.

DO I HAVE TO START FROM SCRATCH?

No, not unless you want to. We realize you have some items at heart, and we will include these in our décor. You should never feel like you have to throw it all out, unless you want to. Every client has sacred pieces… we don’t dismiss them.

DO I HAVE TO DO THE ENTIRE HOUSE, OR CAN WE WORK ROOM BY ROOM?

We often work room by room, or floor by floor at a time, it is more cost-effective this way. We encourage you to start with a home review. This enables you to break the project into bite-size pieces and you will be guided more naturally.

DO YOU HAVE A PORTFOLIO?

Yes, we have an online portfolio representing a broad range of styles. We are flexible to meet your personal taste and style. Our signature is to provide a personal interior that looks as if it evolved over time, a collected essence.

DO YOU WORK WITH A BUDGET?

Yes, everyone has a ‘spending plan’. It is important to be upfront with this information so we both know the level of investment.

HOW DO YOU CHARGE?

We customize our fees to the client and project. Initial Consultation and Home Reviews are charged on an hourly fee. Design Projects are based on a fee per room basis. Project Implementation is based on a percentage of the net total project cost.

DO YOU HAVE A CONTRACT?

Yes, we have a letter of agreement. This protects both the designer and the client from any surprises and confirms and clarifies the scope of the project and all fees.

HOW LONG WILL MY PROJECT TAKE?

This varies widely depending on the size of the project. We can often work on a fast track and have results in 2 weeks to 30 days. For custom projects with furniture orders, it is not uncommon for a project to be 2 to 3 months. Since we ask our clients to establish the pace, we will work within the framework specified. We have successfully completed projects in 2 weeks, just in time for the holidays or a special event, and also worked on those that required months to complete. Most importantly we work to establish a relationship of trust and ease, making lifetime clients.
